Aufgabe B
Lesen Sie den Dialog und schreiben Sie Angelas Brief an Martin. (Read the dia-
logue and write Angela’s letter to Martin.)
Aufgabe C
Lesen Sie, welche Vorbereitungen die folgenden Personen treffen, und schreiben
Sie, was sie morgen vorhaben. (Read about the following people’s preparations
and write what they are doing tomorrow.)
1. Pete is phoning the theatre box office.
2. Katrin is practising a presentation in her office.
3. John is packing his suitcase at home.
4. Claire and Amandine are making sandwiches in the kitchen.
5. Sally is phoning a restaurant.
6. Helen is checking train times on the Internet.
7. Bob is buying food at the supermarket.
Kate: Oh, hi, Angela. Have you got a problem?
Angela: Yes, I’m organising this year’s travel conference and it’s difficult to find
suitable people.
Kate: Yes, I’m sure it is. How many do you need?
Angela: Well, only two speakers but I also need four more people. We’re having
two workshops on the first day and a presentation and a discussion on
the second.
Kate: So, who’s missing?
Angela: Well, we’ve got one speaker and I’ve got some ideas for the workshops
and the presentation. I’m worried about the discussion.
Kate: Do you need someone to lead it?
Angela: That’s right and it’s not easy to find anyone. They must have enough
experience and the right personality: you know, enough self-confidence.
Kate: Yes, and they must be calm and polite. What about Fiona Matthews?
Angela: A good choice but she’s on holiday.
Kate: That’s a pity because she’s very professional, but there’s also Martin
Much.
Angela: Who does he work for?
Kate: Wingler Travelshop, so he has extensive knowledge of the industry and
he’s fantastic with people and at meetings.
Angela: That sounds like the right sort of man. Do you have his address?
